22 Biomass Conversions Underway Thanks to ARRA Funding

You may have heard the news about two recent startups of wood pellet heating systems that were funded by grant money from the federal ARRA (stimulus program), via the Maine Forest Service's Wood to Energy Program.  The two that have announced their completion are the City of Gardiner and Waterville HIgh School, both running wood pellet boilers.  We asked the Forest Service for the complete list of current projects funded by this program.
