A LEED Platinum Apartment Building for Artists

Avesta Housing’s Oak Street Loft apartments have recently opened for residents, and was 100% full on its opening day.  After years of planning, the dreams of many people have come true: affordable housing units for artisits, right in the middle of Portland's arts district.  The building has earned LEED Platinum certification, which will ensure low energy costs over the long haul, and help the building operator to have stable operating costs.

Kudos to the many organizations and agencies that worked together to make this dream a reality.
